The HP Color LaserJet CP6015 Printer Can Deal With All Your Tough Printing Job, In Color Or Black And White
If you are looking for the best printer that HP has to offer, you are looking for the HP Color LaserJet CP6015 printer. This machine is designed for use in large groups that need a large number of prints. The CP6015 replacement toner ensures that the printer, rated at four thousand to seventeen thousand copies each month, produces prints to the high level you expect.
Paper sizes used in this printer range from letter size to ledger sized paper. Not only is the printer a large format printer, it is also large in size. Make sure that you check the specification sheets for the printer size in order to determine you have plenty of room for the printer. Installation may require more than one person as the printer weighs almost two hundred pounds.
There are several size prints that can be made on this machine. Ledger (11×17) prints as well as letter (8 1/2×11) and legal (8 1/2×14). In addition, there is the option of banner prints that are three feet in length. This machine works well for CAD design and drafting.
Print drivers are easily established and the initial toner cartridges come installed in the printer making easy initiation. It will take a while for those drivers to upload onto your computer, so you may want to load the installation disc before taking other steps. Prints that are produced by the HP Color LaserJet CP6015 printer toner at the highest resolution possible are excellent in quality. Text appears sharp and colors are accurate at this setting. The only negative is that there may be banding in large areas that are all one color.
Drums are sold separately from toners unlike other printers. While this seems like a less expensive alternative, for some reason prints on the machine actually cost more than they do on other printers in the same class. This is, however, a greener alternative than offered by many machines.
While all laser printers produce heat, this one seems to produce more than normal. It need a well ventilated room to avoid heat build up. Without this preparation, the printer may warm the room beyond its own recommended temperature range.
Prints on this machine are produced at 40 pages per minute. There is no noticeable difference in either black or color prints. It does take a little while for the first print since the machine may have moved into its power saving mode.
The printer offers several options for paper trays. Each holds a minimum of five hundred sheets of normal weight paper. The MP tray allows feeding of card stock as well as envelopes for printing.
Extended warranty plans are available for the printer. These plans are available for a three, four or five year service. All warranties offer next day service; however, an option for a three year four hour 13 by 5 warranty is also available.
The HP Color LaserJet CP6015 printer works with all current operating systems. It offers high quality prints and although those prints tend to cost more than other laser prints, they are less expensive than prints made on an ink jet printer. This is the top of the line printer from HP and should serve your company well for several years.
